Accounts

Private Beta Feature Liferay Data Platform 2026.Q2+

The Accounts view provides a unified account profile in Liferay Data Platform (LDP). It consolidates account data from Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and other connected systems into a single dashboard per organization.

To access the dashboard, click Accounts in the People section of the navigation menu.

Data Sources Aggregated

LDP consolidates account data from these sources:

  • CRM (for example, Salesforce): Provides structured account and contact data through a connector. Records from Salesforce are treated as known (identified) users.

  • Demandbase: Provides anonymous visitor identification and ABM enrichment data (company, industry, intent signals) through two methods:

    • Webhook (server-side): Demandbase pushes data directly to LDP via webhook. See Connecting Liferay Data Platform to Demandbase.

    • Demandbase Script + Analytics SDK (client-side): If the Demandbase script is present on the client site (for example, Liferay DXP), the Analytics SDK intercepts the data and forwards it to LDP for processing. This method only processes data if an active Demandbase data source is configured in LDP — if no connector exists, LDP does not process the data.

  • Marketo: Sends marketing engagement events associated with accounts through webhooks. See Connecting Liferay Data Platform to Marketo.

  • HubSpot: Sends marketing events and interaction timelines through webhooks. See Connecting Liferay Data Platform to HubSpot.

Unified Account Profile List

The Accounts list shows all consolidated organization profiles stored in LDP.

The Accounts list displays consolidated organization profiles and summary metrics.

Summary cards at the top display key metrics such as total accounts (1), new accounts (2), and active accounts (3). The main table supports filtering (4), ordering (5), and search (6) to segment accounts.

Accounts Table Columns

ColumnDescription
AccountName of the organization or business entity.
IndustryThe vertical or sector the business operates within (for example, Electronics or Apparel).
Lifecycle StageThe current status of the customer journey (for example, Onboarding, Established, or At Risk).
Annual RevenueThe total yearly earnings reported by the account.
CountryThe primary geographical location of the business headquarters.
Last ActiveThe date of the most recently recorded user interaction from this account.
Last EnrichedThe date when account information was last refreshed from external data sources.

Account Profile Behavior

Account profiles combine data from all connected sources.

When multiple systems provide the same attribute, the profile shows the most recently updated value.

Records received from Demandbase, Marketo, and HubSpot may initially be anonymous. LDP associates these records with accounts using company identifiers such as IP address and corporate domain. When an identity becomes known, the record updates.

Only attributes provided by connected data sources appear in the profile.

Account Details

Select an account name to open its dedicated workspace, which contains the Activities and Profile tabs.

Activities Tab

The Activities tab contains a chronological Activity Stream detailing the account’s digital touchpoints.

The Activities tab displays event logs and engagement timelines for an individual account.

  • Timeframe Filters (1): Toggle between Day (D), Week (W), or Month (M) views, or use the Time Range drop-down menu to select a predefined time range.

  • Activity Stream Engagement Graph (2): Displays the frequency and volume of account events during the selected period.

  • Event Logs (3): A chronological timeline showing which individual triggered an event, when it occurred, the event type (documentDownloaded, webContentViewed, pageViewed), and the associated URL.

Profile Tab

The Profile tab groups company information, customer lifecycle milestones, and content affinities into a single view.

The Profile tab displays account attributes, lifecycle stages, and top asset engagement.

  • Lifecycle Status (1): Displays the account’s progression through the lifecycle stages, which include Aware, Engaged, Pipeline, Onboarding, Established, and At Risk.

  • General Account Information (2): Displays organizational information from connected systems, including account type, annual revenue, industry, company size, and website.
