Activating CMP

Private Beta Feature

The Content Marketing Platform (CMP) is a set of add-on features in the Liferay CMS. You can activate the CMP with two steps:

1. Activate the CMP beta feature flag, Content Marketing Platform (CMP) (LPD-58677).

   Because the CMP features are add-ons to the Liferay CMS, you must also activate Liferay CMS, which is itself behind multiple release feature flags. See Activating the Liferay CMS for more information.

2. Deploy the CMP license to your running Liferay DXP.

   Any Liferay DXP Enterprise subscriber can access the CMP private beta features. If you haven’t yet obtained a license, go to https://marketplace.liferay.com/p/content-marketing-platform. Follow the instructions to obtain the needed license file.

   To deploy the file, place it in Liferay Home/deploy or, if using Docker, run a command like docker cp license.xml <container-id>:/opt/liferay/deploy/.

Once the CMP is activated, you can begin by creating a project.
