Issue
- There is a special character (~) observed in the URL when navigating to site settings.
- Is this special character "~" a part of the URL design pattern of the product or is this is a security concern?
Environment
- Liferay DXP [all versions]
Resolution
- The observed special character (~) in the URL is a part of the URL design pattern of the product and there is no security risk associated with this.
- Moreover, this special character can be seen in almost every other options like web content, Forms, Pages, Documents and Media and so on.
