Issue

  • There is a special character (~) observed in the URL when navigating to site settings.
  • Is this special character "~" a part of the URL design pattern of the product or is this is a security concern?

Resolution

  1. The observed special character (~) in the URL is a part of the URL design pattern of the product and there is no security risk associated with this.
  2. Moreover, this special character can be seen in almost every other options like web content, Forms, Pages, Documents and Media and so on.
