Connecting Liferay Data Platform to Demandbase
Private Beta Feature Liferay Data Platform 2026.Q2+
Connect your Demandbase account to Liferay Data Platform (LDP) to ingest anonymous visitor and firmographic account data into your workspace.
Only one Demandbase integration is active per LDP workspace.
Prerequisites
Before connecting Demandbase, ensure these requirements are met:
-
You have the Owner or Admin role in your LDP workspace.
-
You have access to a Demandbase account with permission to manage integrations and webhooks.
Add a Data Source
-
In the LDP panel, navigate to Settings → Data Sources.
-
Click Add Data Source and select Demandbase.
-
LDP generates a webhook endpoint URL and an authentication token. Copy both values. You need them to configure Demandbase.
ImportantConfigure Demandbase using the endpoint URL and token before you return to LDP and click Continue.
Configure Demandbase to Send Data
In your Demandbase account, configure a custom integration to send account data to LDP:
-
Navigate to Settings → Integrated Systems → Integrations and click New Integration. Select HTTP Integration.
-
Enter the LDP endpoint URL and the LDP-provided token as the Bearer token, then save the integration.
-
Set up Demandbase to send data to the integration so that account and visitor data flows to LDP.
Demandbase identifies anonymous visitors and provides firmographic account data. LDP receives this data via webhook and maps it to the correct unified account profile.
See Webhook Payload Reference for the Demandbase account fields LDP uses.
Assign Properties
To make Demandbase data available in LDP, associate it with one or more properties:
-
Return to LDP and click Continue.
-
Choose which properties receive the data:
-
To assign specific properties, click Select and pick one or more from the modal.
-
To make it available across the entire workspace (including properties created later), select the Make individual data from this data source available in all properties, including those not yet created checkbox instead.
-
-
Click Finish Setup.
View Ingested Data
After data starts flowing, open an account’s detail page in the Accounts dashboard and click the Activities tab. The chronological Activity Stream shows the account’s digital touchpoints.
Manage the Connection
Go to Settings → Data Sources and select the Demandbase data source. From this page, you can:
-
Edit the name using the Pencil icon (
). The name must be unique and cannot exceed 75 characters. -
View the authentication status.
-
Click Disconnect Data Source to stop the integration. After disconnecting, existing data remains in assigned properties, but new data is no longer ingested.
