Re-importing contributed fragment collections cause missing default resources

Issue

  • If a fragment on a page has a static resource (an image for example), it will disappear when the fragment collection is imported again.

Environment

  • DXP 7.3
  • DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • This is the expected behavior because there is an option that needs to be enabled by default.:
    1. Go to Control Panel → Configuration → System Settings → Page Fragments
    2. Enable the option Propagate Fragment Changes Automatically by checking the box
    3. Click on Save
