Issue

  • When I make remote headless API calls using basic auth to my Liferay SaaS environment, I get 403 Forbidden responses.

Environment

  •  Liferay SaaS

Resolution

  • Basic auth is disabled in Liferay SaaS.
  • To successfully make remote headless API calls, use another authentication method, such as OAuth 2.
