Consent Management Platform (CMP) Integration

When you need advanced consent management capabilities such as multi-region compliance, dynamic cookie scanning, or external consent logging, you can use Liferay’s integration with third-party Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) to delegate cookie consent handling to specialized providers. Use a third-party CMP if you must

Handle multiple privacy regulations across regions
Manage granular cookie categories outside Liferay
Rely on automated consent logic based on the user’s location
Centralize consent management across multiple applications or sites

Configure a Third-Party CMP

Open the Global Menu (), go to the Control Panel tab, and click Instance Settings.
Go to Privacy → Third-party Consent Management Platform.
Add the Provider Name and paste the Script Tag provided by your CMP vendor.
Check Enabled and click Save.
