Issue

  • We've experienced an undesirable behavior when using Web Content Display and Fragments. After publishing the Web Content Display and going back to edit, the changes made from the edit are not saved.
    • Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create a content page, add a Paragraph fragment and publish it

      2. Go to view mode of the page, and then click pencil button in control menu to edit the page

      3. Edit the Paragraph fragment text, and while editing, click the back button in control menu

      4. In the view mode, click pencil button to go to edit mode again

Environment

  • DXP 7.3
  • DXP 7.4
  • Quarterly Release

Resolution

  • This behavior has been addressed by LPD-40982 and has been fixed by version 2024.Q1.15, 2024.Q3.8 and 2025.Q1.0. Please upgrade to a newer version of Liferay or request a hotfix including LPD-40982
