Resolution
- These errors also arise whenever the user installs the hotfix with the root user and starts Tomcat with the Liferay user.
- To apply the Liferay hotfix with the root user, it must have some file permissions set depending upon the operating system (Linux/Windows).
- Liferay files and directories should have appropriate permissions and ownership to ensure security and proper functioning.
- If the files are owned by a specific user, such as Liferay, then it should perform the patching process using that user account. This ensures that the patch process has the necessary permissions to read, write, and modify files as needed.
