Issue
Importing a LAR file exported from a Site Template through Publishing > Export fails when imported to another environment with the following error message:
The LAR file could not be imported because it requires page templates or site templates that could not be found. Please import the following templates manually: Site Template: ST1(id)

Resolution
To successfully import the LAR file export of the individual Site Template, you must first export and import the entire Site Templates listing into the target environment. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the source environment and export the complete Site Templates listing.
- Import this listing into the target environment.
- Import the individual Site Template LAR file.
Once you complete these steps, the Site Template successfully imports.
