Issue

  • When screen names are automatically generated from email addresses, special characters are converted to periods.
  • ie. underscore

Environment

  • DXP 7.2, DXP 7.3, DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • Only the following characters are supported
    • Upper case (half-width) alphabetical characters
    • Lowercase (half-width) alphabetical characters
    • half-width digit
    • - (hyphen)
    • . (period)
  • All other characters are converted to periods.
