Search result description does not include text from Web Content Display Widget located within Widget Page.

Issue

• Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a Web Content.
2. Create a Widget Page.
3. Add a Web Content Display Widget to the Widget Page.
   1. Configure Web Content Display Widget to display the Web Content.
4. Create a Content Page.
5. Add a Web Content Display Widget to the Content Page.
   1. Configure the Web Content Display Widget to display the Web Content.
6. Search for Web Content.

Expected: Content and Widget Page search result descriptions should include text from Web Content Display Widget .
Actual: Only Content Page search result description includes text from Web Content Display Widget.

Environment

• DXP 7.4

Resolution

• This is a known limitation of Widget Pages. The content on them are not meant to be being indexed. Thus, search results do not include them.

Additional Information

• Given that Widget Pages are not on the roadmap for the Product Team, opening a Feature Request wouldn't help.
