SCIM Token Generation Fails with JavaScript Error in French Language

Issue

  • When Liferay’s interface language is set to French, clicking the Generate button to create a SCIM access token results in a JavaScript error, preventing the token generation popup from opening.
  • The following error message is displayed in the browser console:
    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier 'accès'

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 2024.Q3.9+

 

Resolution

  • The issue is solved by LPD-5294 which is included in release version 2025.Q1.1
  • If you cannot upgrade to this version, request a hotfix from Support.
