Issue

  • Where can I find the default display templates used by the Asset Publisher?

Environment

  • Quarterly Releases: 2024.Q3, 2024.Q2, 2024.Q1, 2023.Q4, 2023.Q3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4+

Resolution

The templates are located in Liferay DXP's source code, available on GitHub. The relevant files can be found in the `liferay-portal` repository, under the following path:

modules/apps/asset/asset-publisher-web/src/main/resources/META-INF/resources/

The specific files for each default template are:

  • Abstracts: view_asset_entries_abstract.jsp
  • Full Content: view_asset_entries_full_content.jsp
  • Table: view_asset_entries_table.jsp
  • Title List: view_asset_entries_title_list.jsp

You can view these files directly on GitHub or access them within your Liferay DXP installation if you have access to the source code.
