Issue
- Is there a way to check the progress of an upgrade while it is still happening?
Environment
- Quarterly Release
- 2024.Q1
- 2023.Q4
- 2023.Q3
- DXP 7.4
- DXP 7.3
- DXP 7.2
- DXP 7.1
Resolution
- The simplest way to do this would be to tail the upgrade log, which is typically located in [LIFERAY_HOME]/tools/portal-tools-db-upgrade-client/logs
- If the upgrade completes logging and Gogo shell is automatically opened, you can run the upgrade:check command to see if there are any upgrades that are pending execution
- If the log appears to be stuck for a long time, or any errors or failures occur please open up a Help Center ticket for further assistance.
