Issue

  • After upgrading to a Liferay Quarterly Release version and trying to connect the upgraded database to the production environment, a Framework Event Dispatcher error is seen reporting missing packages.
  • ERROR [Framework Event Dispatcher: Equinox Container: 17a8b51a-81c1-481e-9291-574e17a1e802][Framework:47] FrameworkEvent ERROR com.liferay.portal.kernel.log.LogSanitizerException: org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Could not resolve module

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4+

Resolution

  • This usually happens when the company.default.web.id= property is not set correctly. You should set the value of company.default.web.id with the content of the column Company.webId in the database for the default instance.
