Issue

This article is intended to expand on and clarify the definition in regards to Old Logs on the Platform Limitations of Liferay PaaS, https://learn.liferay.com/liferay-cloud/latest/en/reference/platform-limitations.html#all-services.

Environment

  • Liferay PaaS

Resolution

The following are the types of logs that are available:

  • Application logs are kept for 365 days (1 year) and can be requested by the customer with a ticket.
  • Status logs and Build logs are kept only for the standard 30 days and can be viewed as well as downloaded through the Liferay Cloud console.

The only logs kept past the standard 30 days (up to a 365 days or 1 year) are the Application logs for each of the services on Liferay PaaS.
