Issue
- Can Angular Portlets be crawled by SEO tools/Google?
Resolution

By default, Angular Portlets in Liferay are not SEO-friendly and cannot be easily crawled by search engines like Google, because:
Google and most SEO tools cannot crawl or index JavaScript-rendered content reliably, especially when it’s inside a Liferay portlet container.

Liferay doesn’t server-render Angular content inside portlets. This means:
- When crawlers hit the page, they get an empty
div or loading skeleton.
- The dynamic content isn’t indexed unless server-side rendering is set up or pre-rendering is used.
