Issue
- In Liferay DXP 7.3, when filtering content in an Asset Publisher by structure, only the web content with that structure are shown
- In Liferay DXP 7.4, doing the same filtering will also show the folders that contain these web content instead.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.3
- Liferay DXP 7.4
Resolution
- This behavior was brought about through an intentional change of how the asset publisher displays the manual asset selection by content type, by LPS-169728
- However, there is a workaround available that can mimic the behavior that was seen in previous versions of Liferay
- When configuring the Asset Publisher, after changing the Asset Selection to Manual, select the specific structure as the Asset Entry
- On the next screen, if you select the "Filter and Order" button and change the scope from Current Site to Everywhere, it will display all the content that has been made with that specific structure
