Issue

  • Can you output the names and IDs of the vocabulary categories in a list?
  • How are IDs generated when exporting and importing between environments?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0+

solution

  • Output on the UI is not a basic function.
    It can be obtained by executing a query in the database or by using the API.

    Each is stored in the following table
    Vocabulary List：
    AssetVocabulary

    Category List：
    AssetCategory

    AssetVocabulary.vocabularyId = AssetCategory.vocabularyId
    It is possible to refer to which vocabulary the category is under.

    For categories already set under each vocabulary, the API：getVocabularyCategories()is available.
  • Category IDs are automatically numbered when exporting and importing.
