Issue
- After performing an upgrade from a Liferay 6.1 version to a DXP version, I cannot see the calendar events. Apparently the upgrade didn't handle them.
Environment
Resolution
- There is s separate tool for importing the calendar events after an upgrade (move them from the calevent table to the new calendarbooking table).
- You can find this tool in the DXP source code at modules/apps/calevent/calevent-importer
- Patch the DXP code with the same patch level as your DXP server, then build the jar for module /apps/calevent/calevent-importer and then deploy that jar (this executes the upgrading of the calendar events)
