Issue

  • When I try to access the web content using the "Friendly URL" set when creating the web content, an error occurs and I cannot access the web content.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1, Liferay DXP 7.2

solution

  • Web Content Friendly URL is a setting that is enabled when using the "Display Page" function

Setting example：

  1. Build Site Pages Tab：View Page
  2. Press the + button, enter a page name and save it.
  3. Open the Fragment Settings menu from the top-right + button
  4. Switch to the Mapping tab and select "Asset Type：Web Content" and "Subtype：Basic Web Content" from the selection buttons
  5. Click the Publish button to publish the page.
  6. Go to Contents Web Contents
  7. Add new web content and select "Use a specific display page for web content" on the display page
  8. Select the content display page you published in step 5
  9. Publish Web content
  10. Access to content via friendly URLs in web content
