Money Orders
With Liferay Commerce, sellers can accept money orders as a payment method. Once activated, buyers can select money orders to complete the purchasing process. Sellers should define and publish their store’s policy on accepting money orders.
Besides activating money orders in the site settings, sellers can create an article to document their policies on the Payment Methods → Configuration screen. The editor supports tables, images, and videos for flexible content formatting.
As of 2026.Q1, CKEditor 5 is available for Liferay Commerce. To use it, you must enable the Release Feature Flag (LPD-11235). If you are upgrading from an older version, you must also update your content to ensure compatibility. For more information, see Upgrading to CKEditor 5.
Configuring Money Orders

Navigate to Site Administration → Commerce → Settings → Payment Methods.

In the Message field, add an optional note about your store’s money order policies.

Click (+) in the Message field to add images, videos, tables, or horizontal line breaks.

Click Save.

Toggle the Active button to Yes.
Your store now accepts Money Orders as a form of payment.
Displaying the Store Notes in Different Languages
You can display your store’s notes about money orders in different languages.

Click on the en-US icon. This displays a drop-down menu with multiple languages.

Click the country flag for the language (for example, Germany).

Enter the translated text.

Click Save.
Your translated note appears when visitors from that locale view the page.
