Issue

  • We have two languages set in our environment.
The previews of news articles shared on Facebook appear in the incorrect language. We posted in French (fr) but we saw 'de' in the URL.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • There is a possibility to change Canonical URL generation:
  • It can be set with go to Control Panel > System Settings > Pages > SEO and change Canonical URL generation from Default language to Localized URL.
