Issue
- User faces 'Missing References' issue many times when importing the data to an environment, therefore, if we have a probable sequence to import this, the issues might get minimised.
Resolution
- It is best to import the references before importing the assets which utilizes those references.
- In most of the cases, below sequence is beneficial for users:
- Document and Media
- Vocabularies and Categories
- Blogs
- Web content and all others
- As most of the missing references are due to document and media usage in other assets, it is best to import them first and then other assets as per the need.
- More generally, user should import the referenced data (if any) first, before importing the asset which utilizes it.
