Issue
- Suppose the user has another language or changes to another language and tries to open the web content article from a page. In that case, the article is always opened in the site's default language.
- Is this the expected behavior?
Resolution
- This is the expected behavior because all the editors in Liferay follow this pattern to initially display content in their default or the site's default language.
- Changing one editor to behave differently would bring inconsistency across the portal, thus a unified solution would be needed. This level of change is up to our product team.
