Issue

  • Track user visited paths in a clustered environment.

Environment

  • Clustered environment with the following properties enabled to use Live Users and Session Tracker:
live.users.enabled=true
session.tracker.memory.enabled=true
session.tracker.persistence.enabled=true
session.tracker.friendly.paths.enabled=true

Resolution

  • This is a product limitation. Only visited paths in the master node are tracked. This isn't going to be fixed since Live Users and Session Tracker have been deprecated in Liferay DXP 7.2 due to performance and scalability issues.
