Issue

  • When attempting to upgrade to DXP 7.4, users encounter the following error:

    WARN [main][DDMFieldUpgradeProcess:616] null java.lang.NullPointerException: null  at com.liferay.dynamic.data.mapping.storage.DDMFormFieldValue.getType(DDMFormFieldValue.java:131)

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The issue is addressed by LPS-198028 and will be available in the Quarterly Release 2023.Q4.1.
  • Please request a Hotfix with this fix.
