Issue
- You have some custom code (e.g. a portlet) which programmatically renders a form
- But after a patch level upgrade, this does not work anymore, the form is not rendered
Resolution
- It might be that you are having this issue due to the changes introduced by
LPS-112849 (released in fix pack dxp-6)
- In
LPS-112849 we included in the fix a check to only render a form if the container exists, and we use the containerId to check it.
-
Therefore the solution is to add a containerId to the FormRenderContext, where you prepare it. For example:
formRenderContext.setContainerId("ddmForm".concat(StringUtil.randomString()));
