Issue

  • The title field appears in the wrong format when related
  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Menu portlet > Control panel > Objects
    2. Create Custom Object A
    3. Create Custom Object B with a Date field
    4. Create a Relationship between Object B to Object A
    5. Change Title field ID to Date field
    6. Publish
    7. Add entry in Object B
    8. Go to Object A
    9. Try to add entry related
    Observed Behavior: The title field appears in the wrong format - 2023-05-31T12:00:00.000Z
    Expected Behavior: Title field appears in the correct format - May 31, 2023

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4 

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known bug that is being addressed by LPS-184908
