- Is there a way to change the default values of the Content Publisher metadata from the interface?

Steps to Reproduce
- On a page, add a content publisher portlet.
- Navigate to Configuration> Display configuration> METADATA
- Two default values appear in the Current field: Author and Modification date
- Expected Outcome: By default, this field should be empty.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.2
Resolution
- Currently, it is not possible to change this setting from anywhere via UI settings.

However, there has already been a feature request for new functionality that allows the default values of the Content Publisher values to be changed. This can be tracked at LPS-132166.
Additional Information
- The product team examines these feature requests to see if they belong on the current or future roadmaps. It would be implemented in future versions if that was the case.
- Here is a feasible workaround:

The possibility would be to use the Configuration Templates although this option would not apply to Content page templates/pages or display page templates. The steps would be:
1) Add a Content Publisher to a page
2) Modify its configuration with the values that want to be the default ones.
3) Click on the three points of the Content Publisher and select the Configuration Templates option.
4) Click on Save current configuration as template and give it a name
5) Remove the Content Publisher
6) Click on the + button to add a new Content Publisher but instead of dragging the Content Publisher line, drag the line with the template name previously entered.
