Issue

  • Differences between smallAttributeValue and largeAttributeValue fields in DDMFieldAttribute table.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • Both fields save same conceptual information, but are different in their capacity:
    • smallAttributeValue: Saves the attribute if its value size is less or equal than 255 characters.
    • largeAttributeValue: Saves the attribute if its value size is greater than 255 characters.
