Issue

  • When a user uploads an image to a fragment on DXP 7.3, there is no possibility of removing the image from it. Users can either replace it with another one or remove the whole fragment. This is true for fragments other than the 'Image' fragment, namely "Content Display", "Heading" and "Paragraph".
  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Navigate to Site Builder --> Pages and add a blank page.
    2. Add an Image fragment to the page and upload an image.
    3. Add a Content Display fragment and click on it, and from the right panel below the "Content Display" click "+" and select Documents and Media, and upload an image.
    4. Check the right panel at the "Content Display".
Observed Behavior: There is no "Clear" or "Remove Item" button to remove the image. Users can only replace it with another one.
Expected Behavior: Removing the image from the fragment should be available.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is considered a DXP 7.3 bug that has been addressed by LPS-165614.
