Issue
- In a Remote Live staging set up, sometimes, a form is modified and requires publishing, but it is not desirable for changes made to the page itself to be published yet.
- Is it possible if a form is modified, for the form to be published without the associated page from the staging site to the live site?
Resolution
- If a change is made to a form and only the form itself needs to be published to the Remote Live site, these changes can be published without publishing changes to the page itself.
- The associated page does not need to be published alongside the form
- When Publishing, switch to Advanced Publication and unselect the pages and only select the form that needs to be published.
- Note: This will only work if, when configuring staging in the staging configuration menu, Forms was also selected as one of the portlets to be published through staging.
