Issue

  • Content is stored in Web Contents not on pages > navigation menu items are created as URLs, in most cases, because of this
  • The Web Contents are translated/using more than one language (at least 2) > can only add the URL in one language to the navigation menu items (created as URLs)

Environment

  • DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • Use these two steps:
    1. Specify every translation on the Web Content Article level (title, content, description) and on the Navigation Menu URL level (name) > The path of the URL remain unchanged
    2. the article and the navigation element will be translated to the user's language configuration
