Issue

  • The JAWS screen reader does not announce whether a Menu item is expanded or collapsed

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • This is a known bug with the JAWS screen reader, which can be solved through use of a custom theme to alter the naming scheme for several buttons.
