Issue

  • Is it possible to see the page name as well as the site name and usage in this scenario? It would be useful to know which fragments are used on which pages.

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. log in as an admin user
    2. Select the Global Site
    3. Go to Site Administration and for the selected site click Design→ Fragments.
    4. Create a new Collection
    5. Inside the new Collection, create a new Fragmentand publish it
    6. Now create a new site (ex: XYZ)
    7. Create a Content Page on the selected Site (XYZ)
    8. Add Fragment named Basic Fragment( from step 5 created at the Global site level) to create your new page and publish
    9. Now Go back to Global site  > Design > Fragments
    10. Inside of collection, select the created Fragment
    11. Open the menu for the Fragment and select View Site Usages
    12. The site name ( in this case XYZ) can be seen and the usage count for the selected fragment

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is the DXP's intended behavior, as defined by LPS-100540. As a result, viewing the page usages for global fragments is not attainable.
