Is it possible to divide a specific column into a sizeable number of columns?

Issue

  • Is it possible to split the two-column layout into another 3-4 columns on the content page?

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • This similar required behavior is introduced as a new feature in Liferay DXP 7.3. Grid-Option-DXP7.3.png
  • Hence, the best approach seems to be upgrading to DXP 7.3.
  • However, if that is not possible, then it might be accomplished through customization or fragments in DXP 7.2

Additional Information

  • We have a different channel called "Global Service Team" that works primarily in custom development and implementations.
