Issue

  • I am trying to add a new Utility Page for a 403 (Forbidden) error, but the only options available are for 404 (Not Found) and 500 (Internal Server Error).
  • I would like to know if it is possible to create a custom error page for the 403 error using the Utility Pages feature.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4 U86+

Resolution

  • Currently, the Utility Pages feature only supports custom pages for 500 and 404 errors. It is not possible to implement a custom page for the 403 error through this feature.
  • A feature request has been created to add this functionality in the future. You can track its progress here: LPD-58240 - Add Support for 403 Error Page in Utility Pages Framework.
