Issue
- If you enable the antivirus scanning it will check files on upload to Liferay applications such as Documents and Media, Message Boards,... but you can also invoke the antivirus scan API directly from your Java classes.
Environment
- Liferay DXP with Antivirus installed.
Resolution
- To enable antivirus scanning for uploaded files you can use the following article: Enabling Antivirus Scanning for Uploaded Files With it all files uploaded to your file store will be scanned.
- The files that will be scanned are the ones uploaded using
com.liferay.document.library.kernel.store.DLStoreUtil, however if you want to invoke the antivirus scanning independently from you file store you can invoke the methods of com.liferay.document.library.kernel.antivirus.AntivirusScannerUtil.
