Issue
- I am not able to change the Staged Content under Staging Configuration, as the checkboxes are seen greyed out and all disabled to change any value in existing configuration.
Environment
- Any DXP environment with Staging enabled
Resolution
- The Staged Content selections being grayed out is expected behavior when staging is already configured for an environment (either Local Live or Remote Live).

To be able to make adjustments to the Staged Content choices, please first turn off staging for the site before re-enabling.
- Go to Site Menu > Publishing > Staging and click on the three dots on the upper right of the screen.
- Select Staging Configuration
- Changing 'Local Live' or 'Remote Live' option to 'None'.
- Save and confirm.
- Reselect either 'Local Live' or 'Remote Live' with the desired Staged Content selected.
