Issue
When reviewing changes for a page within a Publication, it is not immediately clear how to view the highlighted differences (additions/deletions) in a unified view, similar to the functionality available for Web Content.
Resolution
Liferay DXP provides a unified view to see highlighted changes for pages within a publication. Follow these steps to access it:
- Ensure Publications are enabled for the site.
- In an active publication, make changes to a page (e.g., add or remove fragments, edit text).
- Navigate to the Publications menu from the sidebar.
- Click on Review Changes.
- From the list of changes, select the modified page.
- In the details panel, navigate to the Data tab.
- By default, the view is set to Split View. Click on it and select Unified View from the drop down menu.
The view will now display the page's content with additions highlighted in green and deletions in red.
