    Issue

    • The user could choose to inherit the permissions from the parent folder when creating new folders/files inside one folder. If the permissions of the parent folder have been modified, it would be better if the user could choose to propagate the modifications made to the parent folders' permissions to the subfolders/files inside the parent folder.

    • A feature request for this expected DXP behavior has already been submitted and can be tracked here: LPS-46357

    Additional Information

    • Please note that the exact implementation will depend on the developers' decision, and the new feature can only be added to future Liferay releases.
