Issue

  • We are experiencing an issue with exporting form entries that contain attachments. The problem is that when we export a form entries, the download URL for the attachments are missing. Only the file names are included in the exported file.

    To replicate the problem:

    1. Go to the Forms section and create a new form.
    2. Add an image or upload field to the form.
    3. Publish the form.
    4. Submit an entry to the form.
    5. From Content -> Forms, open the list of forms and click on the three dots next to the form.
    6. Choose "Export" from the options -> choose CSV.
    7. Review the exported file, you will notice that it only displays the file names, without the associated download paths or URLs.

This issue makes it difficult for users to access and download the attachments directly from the exported file. It would be highly appreciated if this problem could be addressed by including the download URLs in the exported entries.

Environment

  • 7.4

Resolution

  • This is the intended behaviour. What we can suggest as a workaround, is to view the form entries on the portal UI, in order to be able to download the files.
