Issue
- How to redirect users to a Custom Page for Error Code 404 when Liferay DXP is deployed on the WebLogic Server?
Resolution
- Create a 404 Custom Error page (e.g mypage.html) inside Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/user_projects/domains/liferay/servers/AdminServer/tmp/_WL_user/liferay-dxp-7.4.13.(update)-20230816105706384/yev2y4/war
- Edit web.xml file present inside Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/user_projects/domains/liferay/servers/AdminServer/tmp/_WL_user/liferay-dxp-7.4.13.(update)-20230816105706384/yev2y4/war/WEB-INF with the below code:
<error-page>
<error-code>404</error-code>
<location>/mypage.html</location>
</error-page>
- Add the below property in the portal-ext.properties file:
layout.friendly.url.page.not.found=/mypage.html
