Issue

  • After creating a custom prefix in language_XX.properties, the values can display in UI but cannot be saved.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1

Resolution

Make sure there are no blank spaces between the comma delimited values.

Correct: lang.user.name.prefix.values=Sr,Dato',Datuk,Dato' Seri,Tan Sri,GS

Wrong: lang.user.name.prefix.values=Sr, Dato', Datuk, Dato' Seri, Tan Sri, GS
