Can't select pages from other sites

Issue

  • No Pages are displayed if a DDL with a 'Link to page' DDM field has been created on the Global Site
  • Steps to reproduce
    1) Navigate to the Global site
    2) Go to Content & Data > Dynamic Data Lists> Manage Data Definitions (ellipsis on the top right side)
    3) Create a new Data Definition with a Link to Page field
    4) Create a new List with the Data Definition created in the previous step
    5) Create a Widget Page on the Liferay Site
    6) Put a Dynamic Data Lists Display portlet on the Page
    7) Set the portlet's scope to Global
    8) Select the previously created List to be displayed
    9) Add a List entry
    10) Try to select a Page in the Link to Page field
    Current behavior: No Pages are listed
    Expected behavior: The Pages of the Liferay Site should be listed

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known issue that is addressed in the following DXP versions
    • Liferay DXP 7.2 fix-pack-15
    • Liferay DXP 7.3 SP3 (Fix Pack 3)
