Strict Virtual Host Mode
A Strict Virtual Host Mode configuration is introduced at the instance level. When enabled, the platform will enforce a strict match between the requested domain and the site’s configured Virtual Host. This feature is disabled by default to avoid any backwards compatibility issues.
Key Benefits:
- Eliminates duplicate-content SEO penalties by ensuring each site is reachable only through its canonical domain
- Enforces true brand/tenant isolation, so one site’s content is never accessible under another site’s domain
- Removes the perception of a configuration leak from cross-browsing sites via unintended domains

Status: Generally Available (aka OOTB)
