Cloud Native Experience: AWS Ready - Getting Started

The Cloud Native Experience (CNE) AWS Ready toolkit provides an opinionated framework for deploying Liferay DXP on Amazon Web Services using industry best practices. It uses Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Argo CD for GitOps to automate the setup of a production-ready Amazon EKS cluster and its integration with managed services such as RDS, S3, and OpenSearch.

Start by

• Preparing the required tools, access credentials, and repositories in Prerequisites.

• Bootstrapping the Cloud Native Experience environment and deploying the initial platform resources in Bootstrapping Your Initial Environment.

• For deployments in regulated environments, the Cloud Native Experience also supports Amazon Web Services GovCloud. See Running Liferay on AWS GovCloud for specific requirements and instructions.

Once you complete these steps, the Cloud Native Experience environment is deployed with the default configuration. After the initial deployment, continue with Configuring the Cloud Native Experience to customize the environment and platform components.
